The Annual Fall Meeting brings together thought leaders from across the industry for top-flight educational content and business networking.
The two day event runs from October 17 and 18 in Dallas.
GB will be presenting a general session panel in the area of workers’ compensation outcomes and cost reduction. GB’s Senior Vice President for Workers’ Compensation, Jeff White, will join former RIMS President, Lance Ewing, in an engaging session called, “Evidence Based Medicine on Workers’ Compensation Claims Outcomes.” Jeff and Lance will discuss the goals of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) guidelines in workers’ compensation is to improve the quality of care for injured workers by introducing an objective standard. This session led by an EBM professional and a seasoned risk manager will provide costs savings analysis, the latest research in EBM, as well as address challenges and benefits of incorporating EBM in the workers’ compensation claims handling process.
