This month, GB Syracuse, Branch 022, is pulling together to send a little piece of home to our troops overseas. Led by Susan Morgan, Claims Service Representative, our GB family is adopting a platoon, living The Gallagher Way in this season of thanks and remembrance of those who give their all to the US.
Susan has been giving back to the troops for 13 years. Through the Lion’s Club, she adopts platoons from Ft. Drum, NY who are deployed to the Middle East for a 9 month tour of duty. 2 years ago, she brought the opportunity to her GB Family. Gallagher Bassett has donated Gentle Bears, and everything from “soup to nuts”, including personal hygiene items, snack foods, and even Chef Boyardee meals!
When she found out that one of her soldiers was a Seattle Seahawks fan, and Susan reached out to the team, who replied with some goodies and a card thanking the soldier for her service.
Karen Houser, Assistant Branch Manager, Claims Operation alerted us to the GB Syracuse effort. "Every year we try and pick a few great causes, especially around the holidays, to give back to our community, strengthen our bond together and do great things for the folks we know need good cheer."
Thank you GB Syracuse, for truly living our culture and giving back to those who need it most!
