Five years ago, Archbishop Thomas Wenski committed to host a Gala once every five years to celebrate the Archdiocese of Miami’s milestone anniversaries. As you can imagine, this special event brings excitement and anticipation for our partner, Archdiocese of Miami, and her parishioners.
On October 20, 2018, Gallagher Bassett was a proud sponsor of the Archdiocese of Miami Diamond Anniversary Gala. A priority of the Archbishop is, and has been, the financial support of the South Florida seminaries, and thus the theme of this year’s Gala was A White Gala to Honor the White Collar.
This Gala served as a celebration of not only the 60th anniversary of the Archdiocese, it was an opportunity to honor the clergy who have served the Archdiocese of Miami for six decades. By the end of the evening, $3 million had been raised towards funding significant and imminent needs of the three local seminaries: St. John Vianney in Miami, St. Vincent de Paul in Boynton Beach, and Redemptoris Mater in Hialeah, Florida.
Gallagher Bassett was represented at the event, held at Marlins Park, by Ft. Lauderdale Claims Operations Assistant Vice President Andrea Humphries and Assistant Branch Manager Alison Machulak, Senior Account Manager ADOM, Joseph Monico, and Kristy Sands, VP of Marketing and Communications.
