Winter Storm Gia clobbered the Midwest, D.C., and New England and left 13 dead. Winter storm warnings for millions of Americans in 10 states and Washington, D.C., were lifted Monday after some places were dumped with 13 inches of snow.
Airlines cancelled more than 1,500 flights since Friday and travelers are facing lingering delays and cancellations at several airports today. However, most of the widespread problems from the weekend appear to have exited with the snow storm.
